As part of the permanent exhibition on the theme of “Everyday Life” MO collaborated with the Vienna Technical Museum to design a new exhibition area on the topic of hygiene.

A freestanding partition wall in the center of the room defines the area, integrates display cases and a monitor, and provides seating at the rear for the adjacent children’s play area. At the same time, the bench on the side allows visitors to view the exhibition. Partially broken-up existing walls are also used for display cases. The bench on the side provides a clear view of the exhibition.
A particular challenge was the presentation of the numerous small objects: a display case design inspired by letterpress cases creates the appropriate order and clarity.
