EXHIBITION tmw More than recycling

MO architektur + design

Wasting resources is a thing of the past?

The special exhibition More than Recycling encourages us to question and rethink how we deal with things. It shows that the circular economy begins at the very start of a product’s life cycle – not just when it is recycled. Across five exhibition levels, visitors experience how sustainable alternatives have a positive impact on our everyday lives and how we live together, and learn about the opportunities that exist for a resource-efficient future.

Sustainability in exhibition design
Special exhibitions in particular often generate a lot of waste due to the conversion work involved. More than Recycling deliberately focuses on sustainable concepts: new purchases have been minimized, existing objects and furniture from previous exhibitions have been reused and adapted, and sustainable building materials give the architecture an individual appearance that makes it clear where old elements have been recombined.

MO architektur was responsible for the EU-wide tendering and awarding of contracts to the executing companies, the implementation planning, the coordination of the implementation, and the on-site construction supervision.
